Career

This is Damian Dumas, a senior at Patrick Henry High School, San Diego California.

He wants to be a High school Counselor, and so do I.
He wants to be one because his high school counselor inspires him and has always been there for him.

I would like to however because I feel as if I never really got that help. Growing up I had it a little rough in middle school and I know some teachers witnessed some of the harassment and were never really helpful they just kinda brushed it off and walked away. I don't wanna be that kind of person.

I wanna be the kind of high school counselor who will call in a student if I see anything that might be wrong.

I wanna be trusted by the students that I talk to and really make them feel like not all counselors or psychiatrists are just there to get paid.
